Launched on Kickstarter - united against loneliness

Holy smokes I'm so anxious right now. We've had this thing ready to go for months, but I've been putting it off. I underestimated how profoundly vulnerable it would feel to have my talking head be presenting our game. Anyhow, can't take it back now:

We're live on Kickstarter!

Here's a repost of our first backer update.

Two days in we are 29% funded! The numbers are promising, but now we gotta keep up the momentum past the peak of our big reveal. Our wonderful early backers have already given us so much by forming the first wave of support: thank you!

If you'll excuse my persistence, I have one more request of you: Tell a friend about us. A nosy nephew, cool cousin or sweet sibling; anyone who can appreciate what we're trying to do.

Point being, what we're doing here isn't just a game, it's a grassroots movement. We wanna show that games don't have to be made in an environment of oppressive secrecy and family-ruining deadlines. With the most basic digital communication tools and a non-competitive culture of collaboration, it is entirely possible to make great games without causing hurt in the process.

To fully convey the ethos of our studio, I wrote a personal piece today called Against Loneliness. If you read it I hope the grandeur of our mission sinks in a little deeper. We're just a scrappy little indie startup, but a small pill of medicine can cure serious sickness.
